Scruffed Up Dr Martens & Muddy Fields

As the autumnal bliss of November comes to end, the country can look a little dull, empty and rather dead - but that does not mean you can't find any beauty in it. My boyfriend and I decided to go on a little walk and get some fresh air which resulted in being caped in mud, but was enjoyable nonetheless! Of course the cutie pie Meg had to join us too and I even made a sheepy friend! Today was one of those days that I appreciated living in the heart of the countryside in the Cotswolds, instead of wishing to move away to the hustle and bustle of a city. I think I need to take more opportunities like this to make the most of the nature around me.

It was really cold out, so I was wrapped up in my cosy faux fur scarf and camel coat, both from Topshop. I've been wearing both of these pieces together non stop since I bought them and I can't rave about them enough! On my feet were my beloved Dr Martens that I've had for a couple of years now, and although they may look a bit scruffy on the outside they've stood the test of time so well and are the comfiest footwear I own.

Maybe I'll always be a country gal at heart.
