MAC Haul | I Finally got Ruby Woo!

Do you ever get that feeling that you need to do a cheeky MAC shop? I know I do! I swear I always have a list as long as my arm of things I want to purchase from MAC and slowly slowly I am getting through that list (although, I'm pretty sure it keeps getting longer and longer!). This particular haul was very lip heavy!

The main reason I was even on the MAC website is because I've been wanting to get the Ruby Woo lipliner and lipstick for ages but the lipliner has been out of stock. When I got the notification saying it was back in stock I quickly had to snatch it up before it disappeared again! I have to admit, my MAC lipstick collection is definitely bordering on the larger side but believe it or not the only red I own is Russian Red which is darker toned. Ruby Woo was the classic blue toned red my collection was missing! After playing around with the two I do have to say that it does live up to it's ultra matte and drying reputation but on a night out I'm confident it will stay firmly in place!

I decided that I want to wear MAC Girl About Town Lipstick on my birthday as it's the perfect, bright magenta pink (I can't be the only person who pre-plans their birthday makeup, right?!) I was looking through my lipliner collection and I had no lipliners to go with it and after doing a bit of research I found that the lipliner in 'Embrace Me' was a good match. So of course, into my basket it went! After trying them together I'm happy to say they match so well!

Lately, I've been loving gel eyeliner over liquid, which is something I never thought I'd say! With that new love I've been trying to find the perfect eye liner brush. I've tried quite a few from other brands but never from MAC, so I thought I'd give the MAC 210 a go as the brush is so small and precise! My first impressions are good, but maybe the brush isn't quite as dense as I'd like but I'll get back to you about it after I've used it some more!

P.S. MAC are being very good with their samples at the moment, I find the mascara testers are so handy for travelling!
