Hello my lovelies! Today I'm here with a photo diary with some of my photos from Fuerteventura. I probably should of got a bit of a move on with this post but I swear I've been so busy lately (an life update post coming soon!) but better late than never! It has actually been a whole month since this holiday and its gone crazily fast! As I mentioned in this post, Ian and I went on holiday with some of our friends for some October sun. It was so nice to escape work for a week and relax!

We stayed in Hotel Club Jandia Princess and I really liked it! Considering I hadn't done much research into the hotel prior to our stay (apart from the obligatory instagram hashtag stalk) I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel grounds were gorgeous, with 5 different pools there were plenty of places to go. We of course spent most of our week chilling at the Adult's Only pool which had an amazing swim up bar - imagine a swimming pool with bar stools, seriously cool.

From the Adult's Only pool you could go down some steps which takes your directly down to the beach. Although the steps are steep, it was so worth the effort! On the beach they had a beach bar called Caretta Beach which did really yummy food and cocktails and was a nice alternative from the all inclusive options. This was the first all inclusive holiday I've been on since becoming vegetarian so I was a little worried that there wouldn't be much for me to eat but it was completely fine!

Before coming on our holiday, we had read some reviews about the band system they have in place which really confused us. Jandia Princess has 3 different levels of bands which give you different levels of access to all inclusive privileges. The basic level is blue, the next level is silver which gives you access to all the Adult's Only areas and the highest is black which give you access to all areas as well as branded drinks. When we booked we didn't realise there was a band system so ended up with a blue band but we intended to upgrade to silver once we arrived. However, when we arrived they had actually giving us a free silver band upgrade anyway so that was nice! In some of the reviews it said that people with black bands get special treatment when it comes to being served first at the bars but I honestly didn't see that at all, it was always a fair que.

If you're thinking about visiting Fuerteventura I would definitely recommend booking Hotel Club Jandia Princess!

  1. Never heard of such a band system I think but it sounds like that makes it easier to find the right offer for your budged! Looks like you had a great time!
